Shrutam Day 22 में सीखें "I was eating", "They were playing" — पुराना action जो हो रहा था। "When you called, I was sleeping" जैसे sentences।
इस Day में क्या सीखेंगे
- Past Continuous: was/were + verb+ing
- Used for: action in progress at a specific past time
- Or: action interrupted by another action (Past Continuous + Simple Past)
- Examples: I was eating when phone rang, They were playing all evening
कहानी से शुरुआत
"Raju says "Yesterday at 8 pm, I eat dinner when phone ring." SAAVI: "I was eating dinner when the phone rang.""

I was watching TV at 9 pm.

→ मैं रात 9 बजे टीवी देख रहा था
They were playing when it rained.
(दे वर प्लेइंग वेन इट रेंड)
→ जब बारिश हुई, वे खेल रहे थे
She was cooking dinner.
(शी वॉज़ कुकिंग डिनर)
→ वह रात का खाना पका रही थी
We were waiting for the bus.

→ हम बस का इंतज़ार कर रहे थे
It was raining all morning.

SAAVI: Past Continuous में was/were के बाद verb + ing आता है। "I was eat" गलत, "I was eating" सही।
